Ada Ehi


Ada Ogochukwu Ehi (born 18 September 1987), simply known by her stage name Ada Ehi, is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, recording and performing artist. She started her musical career at the age of 10 as a backup singer for child star, Tosin Jegede. Since she professionally started her music career under Loveworld Records in 2009, she has increasingly gained local and international popularity through her songs and music videos. 

Born to Victor and Mabel Ndukauba, she along with her three brothers grew up listening to gospel recordings. She is a native of Imo State in Nigeria. When she was 10, Ada was selected to be a member of the Girls band of Nigerian child star Tosin Jegede. She is a graduate of Lagos State University where she studied Chemical & Polymer Engineering, during which she joined the Believers Loveworld Campus Fellowship. She then joined the Christ Embassy Choir where she grew steadily until she became a member of the Christ Embassy Presidential Choir. She joined the Loveworld Records in 2009.

She met her husband, Moses Ehi, in Christ Embassy church during one of her rehearsal sessions while still in the university. She married in 2008 and the couple is blessed with two children.

 

Eben


Emmanuel Benjamin (born 9 September 1979), known professionally as Eben is a Nigerian gospel singer, vocalist, and songwriter. Eben was born and raised in LagosNigeria, the fifth of six children. He is from a Christian family and attended Orile Primary School, and Community Grammar School, Orile, Lagos

In 1997, Eben started his singing career and was mentored by his elder brother as a rapper but he later discovered his talent in singing and became a gospel singer. In 2005, as a gospel singer, Eben became popular after his first big public appearance, at a youth conference organized by Pastor Chris where "Imarama" was first heard.

In 2006, Eben was a member of Christ Embassy founded by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. In 2007, Eben released his first album, "On the Rock", which includes songs like “Imaranma”, ”God Dey”, ”Iwo Nikan”, "I Don Hammer", and other tracks. In 2010, he released a follow-up album, “Phenomenon”, which included songs like "Supper Man", "Imele Papa", "Siya Nma" and several other tracks. In 2013, Eben released another album titled “Justified”, which included songs like “You Alone Are Worthy”, "Onye Nwem", "How I Love You", "For Ever" and "All The Way". Eben also has a record label called Hammer House of Rock, with a business arm called the Hammer House Ventures, which specializes in video and music production, event management and interior decoration. And also another album titled "Magnified", with songs like “Stayed On You”, "Everything", "Idi Nma", "Lifted Hands" and other worship songs. Eben went viral after he released a song titled “Victory”.

On 15 September 2019, Eben host a life concert called Joyful Noise 2019 which featured top gospel musicians and also popular American musicians Bob Fitts and Phil Thompson.

 (born July 22, 1989) is a Nigerian Contemporary Gospel singer and songwriter from Enugu State. He is the founder and owner of the record label Rocktown Records, which is home to recording artists such as Edwards himself, Gil, Divine, King BAS, Nkay, David, Dudu and Micah Heavens, among others. He lives in LagosNigeria.

Frank Edwards was born into a family of seven. His birth name is Frank Ugochukwu Edwards. He was born in Enugu state of Nigeria. He has five siblings. He began singing at the age of ten. He learned to play the piano from his father when he was young. In his teenage years, he became a born again Christian. He has six albums and many hit singles to his name. He has established himself as one of the best leading gospel artiste in Nigeria.

Mr. Edwards is a producer, plays several musical instrument and is a keyboardist and a member of the Presidential band of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome in Christ Embassy Church. His debut album The Definition was released in 2008. It was a 14-track album and was distributed by Honesty Music. His second album Angels on the Runway was released in 2010, and his third album Unlimited was released in 2011. Tagjam was released in November 2011.In 2013 he appeared in the live performance of Sinach's "I know who I am" video. He is known for his high pitched voice. Besides being an artist with many songs that cover a variety of musical genres, he is also a music producer and a master mixer. Lara George


Lara George is a US-based Nigerian gospel recording artiste, songwriter and producer.

Lara George was born on 22 June into the family of Oluwole Bajomo in Lagos State, the administrative division of Nigeria.[2]
She attended Queen's College, Lagos before proceeding to the University of Lagos, where she obtained a master's degree in ArchitectureLara began her music career at the University of Lagos, where she joined the campus fellowship choir. She was a member of the disbanded musical group Kush. Her debut album, titled Forever In My Heart, included the hit single "Ijoba Orun" which was released in 2008.The album earned her several awards and nominations.

In 2008, she won Voice of the Year at the Nigeria Music Awards. In 2010, she was awarded Best Vocals Performance (Female) in the industry-wide 'Headies' awards, now renamed 'Hip-Hop World Awards' in Nigeria. She emerged the winner of the Best African Female Gospel Artiste category at the 2011 Africa Gospel Music Awards held in London, UK. Lara George has also been named Trailblazer of the Year, Africa Gospel Music Awards, nominated in the 2016 edition of the prestigious pan-African Kora Awards as Best Female Artiste West Africa, and also Gospel Artiste of the Year, Ben TV Awards UK, amongst many other awards.

George has performed in various notable events including the GreenBelt Festival UK (as part of KUSH), one of Africa's largest musical concerts with attendance of over 500,000 people- The Experience- alongside notable gospel artistes such as Ron Kenoly, Bebe, Cece Winans, Micah Stampley, Don Moen and Mary Mary. Other performances include the Calabar Festival, MTN Music Festival, Festival of Life UK, Festival of Life Canada, amongst many others.
George appeared on BET International as one of the first artistes from Nigeria to be aired on that show. She was a member of the BET Voting Academy for two years in a row. She served as a judge on the music TV show Airtel TRACE MUSIC Star.


She is married to Gbenga George, a legal practitioner and music entrepreneur. , (born June 20, 1979), popularly known as Joe Praize, is a Nigerian gospel singer, praise and worship leader, songwriter and music director who rose to popularity following the release of his hit song "Mighty God" off his debut album My Praise.

Born in Edo State Nigeria, into a family of nine, Joe Praize was born again in 1991. A graduate of Social Work and Administration from the University of JosPlateau State, Nigeria. He has since become a praise and worship leader at the Love World a.k.a. Christ Embassy. He has ministered in several countries including South AfricaCanadaUnited Kingdom, United States, Australia, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, CyprusNigeriaGhana and others, and he has won several awards. Some of the awards include the Song of the Year Award 2010, at the Love World Award with the song, "Mighty God", which is track number five on his first album, My Praise. He was also nominated for Best African Gospel by SABC Crown Gospel Awards 2010, winner Best West Africa at the Africa Gospel Music Awards UK 2011, the Love World Awards 2011, for Worship Song of the Year, best artiste of the year at the crystal award Nigeria, best gospel song at the Coson awards Nigeria, lifetime achievement at the gospel music awards Italy, collaborated with Ayo Vincent in her video "You Are Great", which won the best video at the Crystal Awards for gospel artists in Nigeria, which held on the July 2014, special recognition award loveworld Australia in 2014.

He married his wife Joana in June 2017, and they had their first child, a baby boy, on August 26, 2018.

Mercy Chinwo


Mercy Chinwo
 is a Nigerian gospel musician, singer and songwriter. She won the Nigerian Idol Season 2 in 2012.

Mercy Nnenda Chinwo was born on 5 September 1990 in Port HarcourtRivers state. She is the fourth child in a family of five (first daughter). Chinwo got involved in music at age 8, being a member of the children's choir in her church and transitioning to the adult choir prior to launching her musical career.

Mercy Chinwo released her first single, "Testimony", in 2015, and "Igwe" a year later. In 2017, Mercy Chinwo signed to Gospel Music Label EeZee Conceptz.

Mercy lost her father at a young age, and had to fend for herself and other siblings. As a result, she took her music ministry serious from the beginning.

Acting

A year after winning Nigerian Idol, she landed her first film role in Yvonne Nelson's film, House of Gold starring alongside Yvonne Nelson, Majid Michel and Omawumi among others.[5]

Achievements

·         In 2018, Mercy Chinwo was awarded the Best Gospel Artiste at the CLIMAX Awards 2018.[6]

·         In 2019, at the maiden edition of the Africa Gospel Awards Festival (AGAFEST 2019) Mercy Chinwo was named winner in the categories Africa Gospel New Artiste of the Year, Africa Gospel Female Artiste of the Year and Africa Gospel Song of the Year (Excess Love).[7][8]

·         In 2020, Mercy Chinwo emerges the Gospel Artiste of the year at the AFRIMMA Awards.

 

Kunle Ajayi


Kunle Ajayi
 (June 16, 1964) is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, saxophonist, televangelist and Director of Music at the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

He was born in June 1964 in Mushin, a local government area of Lagos State, the administrative division of Nigeria, located in the southwestern part of the country. Formed a band called 'The Ambassador' with his group of friends and produced his very first album. He later married his wife at The Apostolic Church Idioro, Mushin. He was ordained as an assistant pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in 1991 and later became a full pastor in 1997 having completed a one-year program at Faith Bible College. He later studied music at Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Educationijanikin. He later proceeded to the Royal College of Music in London where he obtained a certificate in music.

He attended Mushin local council primary school Idioro for his primary education before he proceeded to Eko Boys High School where he obtained the West Africa School Certificate. After leaving high school he went to Ijanikin where he studied music.

He started playing musical instrument particularly, saxophone in the early 1980s but stopped due Lung-related ailment that almost resulted in the damage of his larynx. He had contributed significantly to Nigerian gospel over the years and he is currently the Director of Music at the Redeemed Christian Church of God. In recognition of his immense contributions to gospel music in Nigeria, he was bestowed with the Award of Excellence by the Redeemed Christian Church of God in 2007 and in 2008, he received the "Leadership award in Nigeria music".

To properly account for his success and his incessant pursuit of excellence in the Gospel Music industry, Ajayi on January 21, 2018, celebrated his 30 years on stage with a music concert at the prestigious Eko Hotels and Suites
